Finish: Oily with white fruit, pepper and cloves.
Ed's review
Colour: Natural colour, medium amber, or honey. Oily in the glass, with legs that develop slowly.
Nose: Red berries, almonds, walnuts, and caramel. Digestive biscuits. Oak and a suggestion of leather. Light wood spice.
Palate: Medium mouthfeel. Redcurrants, black currants, and stewed apples. Fruit and nut milk chocolate. Star anise and black pepper. The alcohol is well integrated given it sits at 62.7%, providing just a little bright warmth.
Finish: Long finish. Big and rounded, like a crescendo to the whisky. Further fruit and caramel with a little spice.
