Mannochmore 2011 Tasting Notes
Nose: Warm butterscotch, sweet malt, gentle oak with a hint of fortified fruit. Sense of freshness and autumn fruits.
Palate: Sweet malt entry, lively spirit. Oily, rich cream / pastry. Lush and textured. Honey, sweet oak, good length, lingering sweet malt. Slight new oak note mid palate. Hints of drying oak tannins towards the end. Good balance and integration.
Finish: Great length and presence, hangs around for ages.

A beautiful single whisky to celebrate industry legend remarkable 50 years in the whisky industry. This particular release is a 2011 Mannochmore which Mike has aged in a custom-made Muscat cask, before bottling at cask strength.
