100% Petit Verdot from Loudoun County, foot trodden and macerated for 8 days with one daily punchdown. The wine was pressed and fermented in a neutral french oak barrel, then aged for 9 months in barrel before bottling. Not an astringent bruiser of a red, but a dark, fruity and inky wine.

  • Shirts and Skins was started by Shawn Eubank and Sergio Pinzon in 2016, working with fruit local to the mid-Atlantic of the US by producing drinkable, no additive wines.
  • The focus is on experimentation and new techniques in the winery, with different labels each year.
