Deep in the darkness, amidst the heat of summer and the chill of winter, toil the unsung heroes of distilleries around the world. They are the cellarmen: they care for the whisky as it ages. Far removed from the production floor and the politics of the salesmen, they hide away a few select barrels that they sneak a taste of when no one is looking. Sometimes, just sometimes, one of these barrels comes to the attention of the bottlers and that, my friend, is what we present to you today. We hope you enjoy it as much as we who care for the barrels do.
